NSW: Man flees into bush after high speed chase

SYDNEY, Jan 11 AAP - An injured man fled into dense bushland after crashing a stolen
car during a high-speed police chase in Sydney's outer north early today, police said.

The car chase ended when the stolen car smashed into a rock wall on the F3 freeway
about 2km north of the Mt Ku-ring-gai overpass.

During the chase, the car shot across two lanes of traffic, clipped the back of a truck,
swerved onto a bush median strip and then speared back across two lanes of traffic, Hornsby
police duty officer Inspector Beth Stirton said.
