Fed: Aircraft problems ground Kosovars = 2

Greens Senator BOB BROWN says the delay of the deportation is a farce.

He says Immigration Minister PHILIP RUDDOCK has had weeks to organise the deportation,
and the claim the plane is not leaving for operational reasons defies belief.

Senator BROWN says the delay smacks of a sense of panic and confusion by Mr RUDDOCK's department.

He says the delay should be used to allow the Kosovars to stay as one component of
the recently announced 12,000 skilled migrant places.
