Muscat, -- Oman Air, The National Carrier of the Sultanate of Oman restarted its services between Salalah and Dubai on Wednesday 4th May 2011. Salalah flights will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. To celebrate the resumption of the flights between Salalah and Dubai, a ceremony was organised at Salalah Airport under the auspices of H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Saif Al Mahrouqi, the Deputy Governor of Dhofar, and attended by local dignitaries, major travel agents and members of Oman Airs senior management team. More recently Oman Air entered a code-share partnership, effective from 1st April 2011, with bmi that will allow Oman Airs customers to book flights from Omans capital of Muscat to Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Belfast or Manchester, via London Heathrow. bmis customers will be able to book flights from any of the airlines UK departure points through to Muscat. Flights can be booked through either Oman Air or bmi outlets.
